I am excited to serve as Assistant Principal and work with the fantastic team at Sikeston Middle School!

I began teaching in the Sikeston R6 School district in 1998 as a first grade teacher at Southeast Elementary. I continued my career as an elementary teacher for another 8 years. In my ninth year as an educator, I transitioned to a new position as the Elementary Software Coordinator for the district. I continued in that position helping teachers and students to incorporate technology effectively into learning activities. In 2013, I moved full time to the Senior High School where I served as an Instructional Technology Coach as part of the Project iLearn 1:1 iPad program. I joined the Sikeston Middle School family in 2020.

My husband and I have two grown sons who are proud graduates of Sikeston High School! Our dog, Mayberry, completes our family.

I enjoy reading when I have free time. I especially like mysteries and books that help me grow as an educator.  I also love watching baseball, especially my sons’ games or the Cardinals!
